AS the world welcomes 2016 with great anticipation of better days, many businesses and organisations are setting targets and seeking better returns, revenues and opportunities.
The challenge is how best to cope with the economic uncertainties and circumvent the different political issues that have affected business performance.
Just like me, many are wondering whether we will see better days in 2016.
I suggest the following:
» Spend within your limits on necessities.
» Be satisfied with what you have.
» Be thrifty.
» Be self-reliant, self-sufficient and self-confident. Do not rely on others.
» Save what remains.
» Be careful with your investments. Think carefully and seek financial advice.
» Stay prayerfully hopeful in the midst of uncertain days and where the economic climate indicates we have to be prepared for the worse. Be hopeful. Be positive. And be confident of better days to come.
It is hope that will give us another day to make right the wrong, bring the best out of us to face uncertainties, give us another opportunity and another escape from our predicament and another chance to correct ourselves in the midst of personal mistakes, failures and weaknesses.
May 2016 be the turning point in your life where great things will happen and for Malaysia to recover.
