ONE of the top priorities of the new government, elected by the citizens of Malaysia, is listening to "man-in-the-street" Malaysians who really elected the government.
Practically, this means that the "man-in-street" Malaysian must have direct communication links to the CEO of each government ministry, the minister himself. All views, comments, concerns and complaints ought to reach the minister himself, who will then direct these to the relevant departments, bureaus, and agencies and so on under the ministry for review and action.
The minister in charge ought to take full responsibility in listening to the people and for the appropriate response and action required.
I call upon all ministries of the new government to publish the official postal and electronic addresses of each minister so that the rakyat can reach them easily.
