I AM absolutely amazed at the speed with which the new MACC director nabbed big fish and presented them to court.
This coming after three top Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission officials retired or got transferred recently.
Of course, I do hope the new MACC chief can get the corruption charges to stick in court as MACC's record in that respect is poor, at best.
The new MACC chief, who was the head of the National Revenue Recovery Enforcement Team of the Attorney-General's Chambers, would surely know better than to charge with "insufficient evidence" as AGC used to say previously to MACC efforts.
